Frontier Bites: With the slogan of “simple snacks that pack a crunch” snack company Frontier Bites has always been focused on the fact that they’re made with clean ingredients that you can “see, taste and trust.”
The packaging that launched in 2014 helped to convey this mission to consumers. The prominence of the brand name helped develop name recognition, important for a company still in its early stage of growth.
However, the newly redesigned packaging is clearly intended to evolve the brand. The mountain imagery evokes the company’s west coast home base and the use of logos for its non-GMO and gluten-free certifications gives the consumer one less thing to read and an easy way to identify a product that meets their needs.
While there’s no window on the packaging, the new product photography also helps educate the consumer about what lies within the bag. As a whole, the company writes that the changes help “clearly identify the product.”
