The Eastern NC Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing relationships with our distributors and key accounts to ensure effective sales, brand expansion planning, trade marketing collaboration, distribution, and brand growth. Their role is crucial in developing our brand and ensuring continued growth in one of our most important markets. The role will be based in the Raleigh/Durham area and will cover our Eastern NC territory.
Candidate requirements
The Eastern NC Sales Manager must be adept in strategic planning and execution, ensuring that our brand's presence is continuously expanding. They will work closely with various stakeholders to align sales strategies with Hi-Wire Brewing's core values. This involves meticulous attention to detail and a deep understanding of our strategy. Ultimately, their efforts will be primarily directed towards achieving sales targets and distribution goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of our company goals, initiatives and strategic direction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, setting a positive benchmark for others to follow.
- Ensure distributors meet sales targets and distribution goals.
- Regularly attend and set up general sales meetings, work withs. Work with distributors to develop sales strategies and plans using a data driven approach.
- Communicate exceptionally well with all stakeholders.
- Take responsibility for key accounts On and Off Premise within the territory.
- Prioritize brands and SKUs maximizing opportunities across all channels of the business.
- Connection and collaboration with production and logistics teams to meet demand, ensuring out of stocks and overstocks are avoided.
- Monitor sales performance and provide data-driven insights.
- Build a plan to be out at retail prioritizing what matters and where it matters the most, making a difference in the growth of our business. Maintain and submit daily/weekly/monthly records of account calls, placements, and general market impact via CRM software (currently KARMA)
- Ensure execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and trade events.
- Train distributor sales teams in brand positioning and product knowledge.
- Prioritize Quality People Product and Promotions and ensure those items set us apart.
- Quality over quantity executing on brand events and festivals connecting with consumers in the process.
