Mel Gaceta is the Director of Ventures at Mondelez. He oversees and executes early stage investments as part of their innovation hub, SnackFutures. Previously, Mel helped establish and was Managing Director for Synchrony Ventures, the venture arm of GE Capital’s former retail finance business. Mel started his career in corporate venture in 2000 as part of the founding team at Motorola Ventures.

Brigette Wolf is the Head of Innovation for SnackFutures, Mondelez’s new innovation hub that will play a critical role in the company’s aggressive global growth agenda. In this role, Brigette is a key architect in the building of a multi-functional ecosystem consisting of internal experts around the world and cutting edge external partners to drive innovation in a new and different way. In the SnackFutures model of Invent, Reinvent and Venture, Brigette’s focus is driving the development of new brands and businesses in the Well Being and Premium Space. Brigette has been with Mondelez for 6 1/2 half years, and in that time served as the senior director of Global Platform Innovation for Gum, Candy and Biscuits as well the brand manager for Belvita. Brigette was with the company when it was Kraft Foods, and for 10 years under that umbrella served as the Global Innovation Manager for Oreo and also worked across several of the pizza and meal brands. Prior to being part of the food industry, Brigette worked for Credit Suisse in financial advising. Brigette received her undergraduate degrees from The University of Pennsylvania and The Wharton School and her MBA from Northwestern Kellogg School of Management.

Scott Lerner is a consumer products veteran with over 19 years’ experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry, having previously worked for PepsiCo, ConAgra Foods, and Kimberly-Clark. Lerner is recognized for delivering outstanding business results for these Fortune 100 companies. His brand management experience includes managing such leading iconic brands as Scott Tissue, Parkay Margarine, Quaker Oats and Naked Juice. In 2008, he created his own beverage brand called Solixir. For over 5 years Scott navigated the competitive beverage category for a successful exit in 2014. Following the sale of Solixir, Scott partnered with the private equity group VMG partners to become the Chief Executive Officer for Kernel Season’s. After restructuring the business and increasing profitability by 30%, he successfully sold the business in December 2018. Currently, Scott is the Chief Executive Officer for the growing Farmhouse Culture brand. Farmhouse Culture is a leading organic food and beverage brand sold in 5,000 stores nationally. With some amazing products like Kraut, and Gut Shot, the business is poised for similar success with Scott at the helm. As a former United States Marine Corps Officer and successful entrepreneur, Scott likes to take on challenges and will continue to apply his craft growing innovative brands in the future. Lerner received his undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland and his MBA at Case Western University.

Bentley is a driven entrepreneur who loves helping emerging, mission-driven consumer brands scale. He is the CEO of Good Eggs, an online grocery delivery service that’s pioneering a new way for customers to feed their families, without settling. After spending time with Johnson & Johnson and Clif Bar, Bentley joined the early executive team at Plum Organics. Gail Becker is the Founder and CEO of CAULIPOWER and Vegolutionary Foods. Robb joined Whole Foods Market in 1991 and in 2010 was named co-CEO along with John Mackey, at which time he joined the Whole Foods Market Board of Directors. In 2017, Robb transitioned his leadership focus to his role as a passionate advocate for greater food access in underserved communities, serving as Chairman of the Board for Whole Kids Foundation and Whole Cities Foundation. Robb also serves on the Board of Directors for Union Square Hospitality Group, The Container Store, FoodMaven, HeatGenie and Apeel Sciences.

Gary Hirshberg is Co-Founder and Chief Organic Optimist of Stonyfield Farm, the world’s leading organic yogurt producer, and the author of Stirring It Up: How to Make Money and Save the World (Hyperion, 2008). Gary frequently speaks on topics including sustainability, organic agriculture and the profitability of green business. Jeni Britton Bauer is an American ice cream maker and entrepreneur. Jeni opened her first ice cream shop, Scream, in 1996, then founded Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams in 2002. Her first cookbook, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams at Home, is a New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller and won a coveted James Beard Award in 2012. It quickly became the de facto bible for anybody making their own ice cream or thinking about opening a new-style ice cream shop. Arthur Sevilla (@arthursevilla) is Pinterest's CPG vertical strategy lead. Committed to inspiring brands to think beyond media metrics and value the context of consumer engagement, Arthur is a passionate brand builder. Before joining Pinterest, Sevilla spent a decade at Kraft Foods and Mondelez International, in global equity and innovation roles within the grocery and confectionary categories. Most recently he was a Director of Global eCommerce where he set the strategic roadmap for the 2020 ambition of $1B in revenue and executed Oreo Colorfilled, the first DTC activation for the iconic brand. Doug Munk has spent 15 years driving innovation and growth within Nestlé. Today he leads the company's New Business Ventures group, through which Nestlé looks to both cultivate and incubate employee innovation ideas and build partnerships with promising food and beverage brands to generate and scale healthy solutions for consumers. His experience includes leading the Nestlé USA Innovation Center of Excellence, driving platform-based food and beverage innovation, while also training the broader employee base on how to better innovate in this new consumer reality. Deb joined Starbucks 5 years ago, and for the past year has led the Retail Brand Partnerships team. She and her team run the snack category across North America and have the enviable task of finding new food brands for Starbucks stores that customers can feel good about—ones made with simple, pure ingredients and crafted with love and care. Prior to working with food entrepreneurs to build a snack business for Starbucks stores, Deb spent 12 years in traditional consumer packaged goods. At Starbucks she created the shopper marketing and shopper insights function from the ground up, and managed various coffee brands for the FDMC channel including Starbucks packaged coffee, Seattle’s Best, and VIA Instant coffee. At Kimberly-Clark she worked in various brand management and innovation roles. There she managed the creation of multi-brand marketing programs and the brand and shopper marketing efforts for the U by Kotex® launch, which won numerous awards including an IRI product Pacesetter, a Silver Effie for Shopper Marketing, and a Gold Hub Prize. Prior to Kimberly-Clark, Deb worked as a consultant with several leading retailers for Kurt Salmon. Jaime Athos is a visionary and passionate leader in the plant-based foods industry. Prior to his current role as President and CEO at The Tofurky Company, Athos held a variety of other positions within the brand that is also his family’s business, from a college summer job making tempeh to roles in quality assurance, research and development, and operations. Mark Ramadan is the Co-Founder and CEO of Sir Kensington's, creators of all-natural, globally inspired condiments. While attending Brown University, Ramadan and his classmate, Scott Norton, were inspired by an article penned by Malcolm Gladwell, titled “The Ketchup Conundrum,” which suggested that it was impossible for new ketchup brands to compete with the nostalgic incumbent, Heinz.
