Honey Department Launches Thick Honey in a Squeezable Tube
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
New York, NY — Honey Department has launched Thick Honey, a creamed honey product packaged in squeezable aluminum tubes and designed for daily use. The New York–based packaged food brand is entering the market with a focus on portability, ease of use, and reintroducing honey as a food meant to be used regularly.
Thick Honey is made from 100% raw honey sourced from a farmer-owned cooperative in Central Mexico and naturally thickened at a family-owned apiary in Texas. It is thickened to a controlled, spreadable texture without additives. The tube format allows honey to be applied directly to food, carried without leaking, and used across both sweet and savory applications, offering an alternative to traditional honey packaging such as jars, plastic bears, and single-use sticks.
Honey Department's approach centers on function and clarity rather than novelty. The product is intended to fit into everyday routines, making honey more convenient to use and easier to enjoy both in and outside the kitchen.
The launch reflects a broader effort to reposition honey as a modern, usable staple rather than a specialty ingredient or a neglected pantry item.
Thick Honey is available direct-to-consumer in the United States, with plans to pursue selective retail and food-focused distribution.
