NOSH Best of 2023 Awards

NOSH’s annual Best Of awards honor the brands, people and products from across all categories of natural food that have excelled over the past year.

As the world rode waves of inflation and navigated an ever-changing and at times difficult operating environment, this year’s winners have persevered, embraced new ideas, challenged the status quo and pursued positive changes within the industry above all else. Their relentless quest to stand out on store shelves and stand up for what they believe in can be seen in their businesses operations, new product creations and ability to engage consumers in new and exciting ways.

The highest awards, Brand of the Year and Person of the Year, are reserved for companies and individuals whose work over the past twelve months has created lasting and substantial change. In 2023, Rao’s Homemade not only proved the strength of its brand and continued resonance in the market, but also demonstrated an ability to evolve beyond its restaurant roots. Meanwhile, our Person of the Year, Daniel Lubetzky, founder of KIND Snacks and co-founder of SOMOS Foods, has continued to enact positive change both from within and beyond the CPG space. From investing in and advising early-stage brands to founding two charitable organizations Lubetzky is a strong advocate for what, and who, he believes in.

For all of these reasons, and many more, out of a pool of hundreds of nominees, we have selected the winners for this year’s NOSH Best of 2023 Awards in recognition of their continued efforts to improve our food system, grocery store shelves and communities -- one bite at a time.
