Dan O’s has officially gone viral. The Louisville, Kentucky-based seasoning brand has harnessed the power of social media – TikTok in particular – to expand its consumer demographic and it has had an impressive effect. Currently, the brand boasts 4.3 million followers and 69.4 million likes on the platform where nearly half of users are under the age of 30.
Dan O’s TikTok showcases its products through recipe videos and other interactive content. Additionally, Dan O’s has been able to use its online data to drive in-store growth; the brand’s seasonings, ranging from original and crunchy to spicy and chipotle varieties, are now sold nationwide at retailers such as Wegmans and Kroger. This year the company celebrated a rollout to its 13,000th retail door.
