After taking on Pringles, UTZ and Planters with its canister chips and cheese balls, salty snack brand Good Crisp has turned its attention to Ruffles. Earlier this year the brand moved beyond canisters with a new line of bagged Ridged Chips in Original, Outback Barbecue and Sea Salt and Vinegar Flavors. While some natural snacks take a lighter hand with flavoring, in order to compete with conventional products, Good Crisp has taken a more aggressive approach, which results in a chip that has the ingredient deck of a natural product, but the addictive taste that can rival the big guys.
The line is currently exclusive to Thrive Market and Sprouts, but the company has plans to grow distribution in 2024, including club and launching a single-serve bag.
