Expo West: New Condiments and Cooking Staples Debut
An array of elevated pantry staples, salad dressings and sauces launched at Natural Products Expo West, offering convenience with a premium twist. Several options featured “no seed oil” callouts, underscoring a growing consumer preference for avocado oil and extra virgin olive oil.

Loisa
Latin American sauce and seasonings brand Loisa launched a trio of rice meal mixes made with organic spices and no artificial colors or flavors. Varieties including Yellow Rice, Rice & Black Beans and Rice & Red Beans.

Lifeway Foods
Lifeway Foods has expanded its collection of fermented probiotic products with a range of kefir salad dressings. The lactose-free lineup includes Seemingly Ranch, Green Goddess, Dreamy Caesar and Avocado Chipotle varieties.

Sunny
Sunny Fine Foods is broadening beyond its tahini tubs. The brand presented a new line of seed oil-free dressings and drizzles packed in squeeze bottles and made with avocado and extra virgin olive oils. Flavors include Simple Lemon, Dill Pickle, Miso Caesar and Ginger Ponzu. Two additional varieties – Green Curry and Chipotle BBQ – are made with tahini.

Fabalish
Fabalish sampled the newest addition to its line of vegan dips – Sour Cream & Onion crafted in collaboration with plant-based blogger and chef Mario Fabbri. Like all of the brand’s jarred condiments, the product is based on aquafaba and contains organic, cold-pressed, high-oleic sunflower oil, plus minced onion, onion powder, apple cider vinegar, chickpea miso, Himalayan salt and dijon mustard.

Justin’s
Justin’s introduced Classic Crunchy Peanut Butter, a new no-stir option made with simple ingredients. The spread is Non-GMO Project Verified, certified gluten-free, kosher and Pollinator-friendly. Half of peanut butter buyers purchase crunchy peanut butter, according to data cited by the brand.

Chosen Foods
Chosen Foods debuted four new avocado oil-based dressings: Honey Balsamic, Zesty Italian, Greek Artichoke and Strawberry Pistachio. The brand also showcased reformulated Steakhouse Caesar, Classic Ranch and Lemon Garlic dressings. The products are crafted with pure avocado oil, pear juice, premium vinegars and herbs. Chosen Foods’ dressings will be available at Target, Kroger, Walmart, Sprouts and other retailers beginning in April.

It’s Skinny
It’s Skinny unveiled ready-to-eat pasta meals featuring noodles made from the high-fiber root vegetable konjac. A calorie-conscious riff on boxed macaroni and cheese, the gluten-free offerings are available in Truffle Parm, Cacio e Pepe and Velveety Cheddar flavors.

Ithaca Hummus x Graza
Ithaca Hummus partnered with Graza on a co-branded Olive Oil & Sea Salt hummus, launching nationwide at Whole Foods Market. The dip is crafted with Graza Extra Virgin Olive Oil plus chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, crushed red pepper and a sprinkle of sea salt.
