Distribution: Nightingale Flocks to More Whole Foods, Yo Mama’s Lands In Costco

Nightingale Ice Cream, maker of handcrafted ice cream sandwiches, is expanding into additional Whole Foods Market stores across the country. The brand has entered four additional regions – Midwest, Southwest, Rocky Mountains and Florida – growing its footprint to more than 400 Whole Foods locations by the end of the summer.
Richmond, Va.-based Nightingale will offer an assortment of its most popular flavors, including Banana Pudding, Cookie Monster and Strawberry Shortcake..
“We’re thrilled to expand our collaboration with Nightingale Ice Cream across four new regions, bringing their exceptional handcrafted ice cream sandwiches to even more of our customers,” said Daniella Cady, senior bakery category merchant at Whole Foods Marke, in a press release. “Their commitment to innovative flavors perfectly aligns with what our shoppers are looking for in premium frozen treats. The brand’s impressive growth and customer feedback in existing markets made this expansion a natural next step in our relationship.”
With this latest move, the premium frozen treat brand may be found at more than 5,200 chain and independent grocers nationwide, including Costco, Kroger, Ralph’s, The Fresh Market and Harris Teeter.

Yo Mama’s Lands In Costco
Yo Mama’s Foods is hitting the club. The maker of premium sauces is launching Roasted Garlic Pasta Sauce at 110 Costco locations across the Midwest in a two-pack of 25 oz. jars. The brand has offered several products on Costco.com; however, this expansion marks the brand’s in-store debut.
“Expanding into Costco is a strategic step in making our clean, comforting sauces more accessible nationwide,” said David Habib, founder and CEO of Yo Mama’s Foods, in a statement. “It marks a significant milestone as we grow our presence in the club channel and build on the strong performance of our variety packs online.”
Yo Mama’s Foods produces a line of pasta sauces, salad dressings, and condiments that are sold in more than 25,000 retail stores nationwide.

Doughlicious Expands Into Wegmans
Doughlicious’ Gelato Bites are rolling out to Wegmans supermarkets across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. The frozen treat – available in a variety of flavors including Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Truffle and Cinnamon Churro, will be retail for $6.99. The products – made with gluten-free oats and no refined sugar – feature creamy gelato wrapped in cookie dough and dusted with cookie crumb.
“We’re excited to partner with Wegmans, a retailer that shares our commitment to quality and innovation,” said Kathryn Bricken, founder and CEO of Doughlicious, in a statement. “This launch gives more American consumers access to a delicious, portion-controlled treat that’s better for you.”
The London-based brand retail expansion coincides with a fresh funding round that will support plans to build manufacturing capacity in the U.S.
