Things just got even sweeter for Doughlicious.

The London-based, better-for-you cookie dough brand has raised a $5 million round led by Rich Products Ventures, the investment arm of family-owned food company Rich’s, and private investor collective The Angel Group. The new capital will be used to start manufacturing in America, in part to offset tariffs imposed by President Trump, reports The Times.

“We’re not profitable because of those tariffs, and we don’t want to put that cost increase on our customers because we know that our endgame is to start manufacturing in the U.S. We will keep our factory [in London] and this factory will provide for the U.K. and Europe. The [U.S.] factory will send to Asia,” Kathryn Bricken, founder and CEO of Doughlicious, told the publication, adding that the company expects revenues of over £10 million ($13.3 million) in 2025.

Doughlicious produces a line of Frozen Cookie Dough and Gelato Bites – frozen gelato wrapped in gluten-free cookie dough and dusted with cookie crumbs – in flavors like Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Truffle, Mint Chocolate Chip and Cinnamon Churro. The bites have a SRP of $6.99 per 6-piece box.

Launched in the U.K. in 2017, Doughlicious crossed the pond for a stateside debut at Whole Foods Market last year to redefine indulgence in the frozen novelty aisle. The move – backed by a £3.5 million investment from Triple B – included 185 Whole Foods stores across the Northeast, Southwest, Rocky Mountains and Mid-Atlantic regions, encompassing markets like New York, Washington, Dallas and Denver.

Several months after its debut, Doughlicious expanded nationally with the grocery chain, aiming to “become as ubiquitous as leading frozen novelties.” The brand’s U.S. distribution partners also include Target, Wegmans and Gopuff.

Most recently, Doughlicious celebrated its U.S. partnership with Gopuff by launching a Cookies & Cream flavor exclusive to the ecommerce grocery platform. The new variety features dark cocoa cookie dough wrapped around vanilla gelato sprinkled with cookie pieces and dusted in a dark chocolate, milk chocolate and cream crumb.

All of Doughlicious’ products are currently produced at its 22,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in London. However, armed with this fresh capital from Rich Products Ventures and The Angel Group, the company expects to start U.S. production next spring, per The Times.
