Distribution: Doughlicious Launches Gopuff-exclusive Flavor; Little Bellies Lands in Kroger

Doughlicious Launches Exclusive Flavor with Gopuff

The London Dough Co.’s cookie dough snack line – Doughlicious – is deepening its U.S. presence through an exclusive flavor launch with ecommerce grocery platform Gopuff. The new Frozen Cookie Dough and Gelato Bites flavor, Cookies & Cream, features dark cocoa cookie dough wrapped around vanilla gelato speckled with cookie pieces and dusted in a dark chocolate, milk chocolate and cream crumb.

Doughlicious Cookies & Cream has an SRP of $6.99 per 6-count box and is available for delivery in as fast as 15 minutes.

“At Gopuff, we’re always looking for ways to bring our customers more of what they want quickly, conveniently and often before they can find it anywhere else. Cookies & Cream is consistently one of the top-selling flavors on our platform, so partnering with Doughlicious to launch this exclusive new take on a classic was a natural fit,” said Carly Bickerstaff, VP of merchandising at Gopuff, in a press release.

Launched in the U.K. in 2017, Doughlicious made its stateside debut last year in Whole Foods Market, capitalizing on the rise of miniaturization and “snackable moments” in the freezer aisle. Months after landing in the U.S., the brand went national with Whole Foods with the goal of becoming “as ubiquitous as leading frozen novelties.”

As part of Doughlicious’ new partnership with Gopuff, the ecommerce platform will distribute more than 100,000 samples to consumers nationwide throughout the summer.

Bobbie Launches on Costco.com

Organic infant formula producer Bobbie has landed its products on Costco.com. According to the brand, the move makes Bobbie the only USDA Organic infant formula available to Costco shoppers nationwide.

Club members can purchase a two-pack of Bobbie’s Organic Original infant formula (14.1 oz. cans) for $39.99.

“This represents much more than a win for Bobbie and our customers; it’s a step forward in making high-quality infant formula more widely available,” said Sara Ahmed Holman, chief commercial officer at Bobbie, in a statement. “In order to uplevel this industry, we must disrupt the formula aisle – both in person and online.”

Row 7 Brings Sweet Garleek to Whole Foods

Following its limited regional launch, Row 7 Seed Company’s newest vegetable, Sweet Garleek, is going nationwide with Whole Foods. As its name suggests, the vegetable marries the sweetness of leeks with the mellow, savory notes of garlic.

To scale Sweet Garleek, Row 7 has partnered with regional organic partners like Norwich Meadows Farm and Lakeside Organic Gardens.

“The national availability of Sweet Garleek represents a milestone not just for Row 7, but for the entire movement to put flavor first in plant breeding,” said Charlotte Douglas, president of Row 7, in a press release. “When vegetables taste this good, people naturally want to cook and eat more of them.”

Little Bellies Lands in Kroger

Baby and toddler snacks brand Little Bellies has landed in Kroger stores nationwide, marking a significant milestone in the Australian brand’s U.S. expansion.

The partnership introduces four flavors of the Little Bellies’ Pick Me Sticks to the retail chain’s shelves: Organic Strawberry (7 months+), Organic Sweet Potato (7 months+), Organic Berry Yogurt (7 months+) and Organic Mango Yogurt (7 months+). The snacks are designed to support natural progression through key developmental milestones, including motor skills, taste development and independent feeding.

“This Kroger partnership represents a pivotal milestone in our journey to bring better snacking options to families. We created this brand to make parents’ lives easier and snack time more enjoyable,” said Clive Sher, co-founder and managing director of Little Bellies, in a statement.

Little Bellies’ retail expansion with Kroger follows its partnerships with Target and Walmart established earlier this year, helping the brand gain a solid foothold in the U.S. baby and toddler snack food category.
