Expo West Photo Gallery: Meals Made Easy

Oat-based products were widely seen across Expo. Taking the ingredient from sweet breakfast food to savory dinner addition was Grainful. These frozen meals and side dish kits use steel cut oats in place of more traditional options such as rice, farro and quinoa. As more ingredient companies offer certified gluten-free oats, the grain has become easier to incorporate into gluten-free product lines. Co-Founder Jeannine Sacco, featured here, started Grainful when she realized she needed to make a quick side for dinner and only had oats in her pantry.
