Position Summary:
The Geloso Beverage Group (GBG) Region Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing sales growth and profitability of all brands both internally and externally. They are a key point of contact for wholesale distributor relations. Their focus is on distribution growth, profitable volume growth, building new & existing markets, and people management. They are responsible for the development of an employee-oriented sales culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention, efficiency, and high performance. They must create a workplace culture that emphasizes the identified mission, vision, guiding principles, and values of our organization. Reports directing to the GBG Division Sales Manager as part of the GBG USA sales organization.
Region: Southwest LA / OK / AR
Ideal location: LA, however the successful candidate can live in any of the assigned states

Collaborates & works cross functionally regularly with: Chain account team / Category & data insights team / Pricing / Marketing / Finance / Shipping & logistics
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Minimum of five to seven years of sales experience within the alcohol industry with a supporting history of success is required; within the beer industry it is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of wholesale distribution required.
- Minimum of three years of people management experience
- History of leading, mentoring, and supporting a team to achieve organizational goals while fostering a positive, productive work environment.
- Candidates must be initiative-taking, self-directed, methodical and results driven, with strong organizational skills, attention to detail and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to troubleshoot and work independently.
- Knowledgeable of the respective state laws, municipalities, & applicable malt-laws.
- Existing relationships with GBG wholesaler network strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of core financial principles required.
- Inventory management with the ability to forecast and plan for unforeseen circumstances.
- Must possess solid skills with basic mathematical computations and have proficient computer functions knowledge, including MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, VIP, KARMA, idig, IRI/Circana & Brandfolder.
- Ability to demonstrate dynamic presentation skills that do not just rely on power point.
- Superior knowledge of pricing activities with adequate understanding of the impact of pricing decisions and capability of executive level conversations to deliver increased revenue & profitability for GBG.
- This position requires a valid driver's license to travel between locations, reliable transportation, a satisfactory background check, and the ability to meet the physical demands of the position detailed below.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Participate in regular meetings with key distributor contacts to negotiate & review goals/targets KPI’s, and drive engagement.
- Lead, manage, develop & coach all sales team members to execute plans for volume & distribution growth and profitability.
- Manage all wholesale distribution partnerships with the key influencers at GM level or above.
- Review distributor engagement from previous period and set expectations for upcoming period.
- Build and maintain key accounts, including but not limited to, grocery store placements, convenience store placements and 100% closure of mandated chain gaps.
- Annual Business Plan meetings with all wholesale distribution partners.
- Management of product inventory & logistics.
- Willing & able to travel to all markets within the assigned region (approx. 50% travel required).
- Occasional weekend and/or travel outside of assigned territory.
- Present information at in-person & virtual meetings, General Sales Meetings & industry tradeshows.
- Cross functional communications across all internal GBG teams & personnel.
- Demonstrates the GBG culture, values, and behaviors.
- Accomplish all other tasks assigned by Division Sales Manager.
