Founded in 2018 by trained chef, Alicia Torres Candé and sister, Alejandra Torres Candé, Lasto Foods is a convenient and silky-smooth alternative to traditional nut butters, delivered in a mess-free squeezable container, making it ideal for incorporating into recipes and crafting picture perfect presentation. After spending years working in the restaurant industry as a chef in Mexico City, Candé began to incorporate more nut butter into her home cooking, but she was unable to achieve the perfect consistency and presentation with the existing nut butter products in the market. Candé, alongside her sister, set out to craft an alternative that was not only functional, but tasted delicious without compromising on the quality of ingredients.
