In this week’s new products roundup, Roots Farm Fresh expands its frozen potato products into the breakfast daypart, Huer Foods and Cholula collaborate on “swicy” gummy candy, and Dr. Praeger’s expands its snack lineup.

Moka Energy

Jessica Kwong, the founder and CEO of nutrient-dense snack producer Jack & Friends, has launched an energy bar brand called Moka Energy. Available in three flavors – Vanilla Latte, Caramel Cappuccino and Dark Roast Coffee – each 1.1 oz. bar contains 90mg of caffeine, equivalent to one cup of coffee. Hawaiian frozen treat brand Chee Hoo has unveiled a new line of Protein Pops that deliver 12 grams of whey protein per bar.
