H2Ok Innovations Raises $12.42M To Scale A.I. In CPG Manufacturing

H2Ok Innovations has closed a $12.42 million Series A funding round led by Greycroft with participation from 2048 Ventures and Construct Capital.

Founded in 2021, H2Ok Innovations is the developer of patented artificial intelligence-powered sensors to recapture lost production time, water, energy and chemicals at food and beverage manufacturing facilities. Its customers include Unilever, AB InBev, The Coca-Cola Company and Danone.

“Post-COVID food and beverage manufacturers are besieged by supply chain constraints, rising costs, evolving safety standards, and shifting consumer demands,” said Annie Lu, CEO of H2Ok Innovations, in a press release. “Our turnkey solution gives manufacturers production time back to address these macro challenges and still drive innovation. We’re excited to bring science-backed proprietary sensors and industry-focused A.I. that delivers both the sustainability and speed that manufacturers need to thrive in today’s environment.”

The startup plans to use the new capital to scale its technology to reduce clean-in-place time and optimize product changeovers at more facilities. Jim Moffatt, an advisor for Greycroft, will join the board of directors.

“H2Ok Innovations is focused on transforming industrial operations by applying A.I. in ways that can drive immediate, measurable results,” said Dana Settle, co-founder and managing partner at Greycroft, in the release. “We’re proud to support Annie and David as they scale their vision globally and aim to advance both efficiency and environmental sustainability.”
