Notable New Products: Chili-Infused Noodles & Everything Bagel Crisps
In this week’s roundup of notable new products, Pringles jumps on the everything bagel flavor trend, Yaza looks to bring Americans labneh and GEKI launches what it claims to be the first chili-infused noodles available in the United States.

Pure Protein
Lifestyle nutrition brand Pure Protein has expanded its line of high-protein bars with two new flavors, Galactic Brownie and Caramel Churro. Both varieties pack 20 grams of protein per serving and are under 200 calories. The new offerings are available in 4-count boxes at Walmart stores nationwide for a SRP of $6.47.

Pringles
With its newest product innovation, Pringles is seeking to provide consumers with everything they love about everything bagels, sans toaster. The new LTO features tasting notes of sesame, poppy seeds, toasted garlic, onion and, yes, even cream cheese. Pringles Everything Bagel is currently available at select retailers nationwide.

Yaza
Yaza is on a mission to introduce traditional labneh, a Mediterranean-style dip, into American homes with its Plain, Za’atar & Olive Oil and Spicy Chili varieties. The brand’s creamery is located in the heart of the Catskill Mountains in upstate New York. Yaza’s labneh is available in 12 oz. tubs at Kings Food Markets, Balducci’s, D’Agostino, Gristedes and select independent retailers nationwide.

Tony’s Chocolonely
Netherlands-based chocolate maker Tony’s Chocolonely has expanded its portfolio with the addition of its Littl’ Bits – a bite-sized treat. Available in four flavors – Milk Caramel, Marshmallow & Biscuit Mix, Dark Orange Choco Cookie and Triple Chocolate Mix – the new product is Tony’s smallest chocolate format and features chewy, crunchy cores wrapped in thick, chunky chocolate, according to a LinkedIn post.

Kerrygold
Kerrygold, an international brand of Ornua, has introduced Cheese Snacks ready-to-eat cheese sticks available in Aged Cheddar and Dubliner varieties. The former is a “connoisseur’s cheddar” with a rich, rounded flavor while the latter is a mature cheddar with sweet nutty notes of a Swiss and “a piquant bite of aged Parmesan,” according to a press release. Kerrygold Cheese Snacks are available in 8-packs at Wegmans, Whole Foods and Giant Foods stores.

GEKI
Cup Noodles creator Nissin Foods USA has launched what it claims to be the first chili-infused noodles available in the United States. Named GEKI, which means “extreme” in Japanese, the round noodles are directly infused with chili flakes that generate a red hue. GEKI is available for a SRP of $1.39 per single-serve package at Sam’s Club locations nationwide.
