Expo West Photo Gallery: Meals Made Easy

Every Expo seems to bring a new product from Upton’s Naturals, and this Expo West was no exception. While the product is called the “classic burger,” the ingredients were anything but, with a base of wheat gluten, tofu and eggplant. Originally on the menu at Upton’s brick and mortar cafe, the patty was so beloved that fans asked for it to be added to the packaged line. The burger, which has a meat-like texture, is a slight departure for Upton’s, whose other products are more strongly flavored and globally influenced.
