Zesty Z Completes Brand Refresh and Launches Food Service

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Zesty Z: The Za’atar Co. is the leading Za’atar brand and manufacturers the first Za’atar condiment.

The company has been delivering a burst of exciting Mediterranean flavor across the country since 2017.

Zesty Z’s newly released logo and label reflect the bold flavor of Za’atar and the spirit of its founders. Zesty Z’s team has tested the new, bright green label and is confident that it will distinguish itself on the shelf and catch the eye of consumers.

“The condiment shelf is cluttered with the same products and color schemes. It’s time to shake things up in that aisle. Everybody loves condiments and a new wave of products is coming,” said CEO Alexander Harik. The Za’atar callout in friendly, thicker font identifies the product and makes the exciting Mediterranean flavor jump out to customers.

The ½ gallon food service offering is primarily focused on Zesty Z’s partnerships and represents the industry’s increasing understanding of Za’atar as a versatile ingredient. After the success of Zesty Z’s national partnership with Le Pain Quotidien in 2017 for its “Lebanese Chopped Salad,” and inquiries from food service clients around the country, Zesty Z is eager to explore the tremendous upside of this channel.

As Za’atar continues to gain momentum as a flavor and ingredient in the U.S., Zesty Z plans to release additional consumer packaged goods and food service products over the next 12-18 months.
