Scuttlebutt Brewing Company is family owned, proudly independent and has been in business for over 25 years. We are still growing, and need to add to our brewing team. We are serious about innovation and quality. Our production brewery consists of a 20 BBL Brewhouse, multiple 20, 40 and 60 BBL fermenting vessels and bright beer tanks, a Wild Goose Canning line and a GEA Centrifuge. We offer a supportive team environment and are looking for a reliable, innovative brewer to join our team. Responsible for all brewing operations including: cellaring, wort production, general cleaning, yeast handling, CIP’s, transferring, centrifuging, etc.
- Accurate record keeping with brewing, cellaring and fermentation data.
- Uphold QA/QC standards and participate in sensory evaluations.
- Accurately follow recipes and standard operating procedures.
- Work safely in a fast paced production environment. Safety first, always.
- While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, bend, lift 50lbs repeatedly and stand throughout the shift.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment that promotes efficiency and safety.
- Provide support to other coworkers as needed.
- Able to multi-task, have a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
- Bring creativity to the R&D process and help drive innovation.
Full Time Monday – Friday: 40 Hours/ Week
