Rudi’s Organic Bakery Launches First-Ever Organic Kids Bread

BOULDER, Colo.,  — Rudi’s Organic Bakery® brand just announced the launch of Rudi’s Organic Bakery® Kids Bread, the first nationally-available organic bread made for kids. Made with a short list of simple, organic ingredients you might find in your kitchen, Rudi’s Organic Bakery® Kids Bread is unique to the market, and is now available nationwide, including all Whole Foods locations.

The new organic bread, which comes in white and wheat varieties, has small, thin slices, making it the ideal size for kids. The recipe was developed specifically to appeal to kids as well as parents, which means that it’s incredibly soft and fluffy and made with only simple, organic ingredients.

“Kids typically love bread, and given the lack of organic bread options that specifically appeal to kids, we decided to develop a sandwich bread that kids would love with a simple, clean ingredient label that moms can appreciate,” said Lauren Beno, Associate Brand Manager for Rudi’s Organic Bakery, Inc. “The leading kids breads on the market today are made with synthetic preservatives and chemical additives, so we wanted to provide families with an option they can feel good about giving their kids.”

Like all Rudi’s Organic Bakery® products, Rudi’s Organic Bakery® Kids Soft White and Soft Wheat Breads (MSRP: $4.29) are certified USDA-organic, made without genetically modified organisms (“GMOs”) and baked using only high-quality, simple and organic ingredients. While other kids breads currently exist, the only options are conventional products. The leading national, conventional kids bread has more than 20 ingredients, such as modified wheat starch, enriched bleached flour and synthetic dough conditioners. This is in contrast to Rudi’s Organic Bakery® Kids Bread, which is made with recognizable, organic ingredients, including organic wheat flour, organic oat flour and organic sunflower oil.
