Chomps is clucking about its first protein expansion in eight years with the launch of chicken sticks.
Talking to Nosh at Chomps’ Expo West booth, COO and president Elizabeth Carter explained how the brand’s new three-SKU line of chicken sticks will open up new opportunities in meal occasions like breakfast.
Carter discusses the reasons it took Chomps so long to go deeper into poultry and the challenges of formulating with chicken. She also hints at the brand’s plans to expand the line into its 0.5 oz. Chomplings – think lunchboxes – as well as the company’s ambitions to move into other formats that bring the brand deeper into the family pantry.
