Eggo has introduced Eggo Zero, its first waffle with zero grams of added sugar. Available in two flavors – Buttermilk and Blueberry – the waffles deliver 12 grams and 11 grams of protein, respectively. Macadamia nut brand Mauna Loa has launched its Sea Salt Macadamia Nut Multipack – which includes five on-the-go 1 oz. snack packs – in Albertsons. She’s The Sauce has expanded its portfolio of protein- and fiber-filled condiments with Buffalo Babe. The new SKU contains 4 grams of protein, 2 grams of fiber and less than 3 grams of sugar, and is free from refined sugars, seed oils, gums and gluten. Oat Haus x Kylie Kelce
Granola butter purveyor Oat Haus has teamed up with media personality and podcaster Kylie Kelce to create a limited-edition Salted Caramel flavor. The new offering is made with gluten-free oats, olive oil, coconut oil, caramel chips, caramelized sugar, rosemary extract and salt. Oat Haus Salted Caramel Granola Butter is available on the brand’s website for $12.95 per 12 oz. jar or $34.95 per 3-pack. A portion of the proceeds will support the Eagles Autism Foundation. SmartSweets
SmartSweets is entering a new category with the launch of Fruit Flavored Snacks in Mixed Fruit and Berry Medley varieties, both of which contain 63% less sugar than traditional fruit snacks, the brand claims. Each single-serve bag contains 3 grams of fiber and just 3 grams of sugar. The snacks are colored with fruit and vegetable juices and are free from artificial flavors and sweeteners. SmartSweets Fruit Flavored Snacks are currently available at Target and Kroger, and will roll out to Sprouts Farmers Market, Whole Foods and Amazon later this summer.
