Hot on the heels of its fall seasonal flavors, Sweet Loren’s has announced the return of its winter seasonal Gingerbread and Chocolate Mint varieties. The pre-cut dough bakes 12 cookies and is also safe to eat raw. Both seasonal flavors will soon be available at retailers nationwide including Target, Whole Foods, Kroger, Publix, Stop & Shop and Sprouts.
Burlap & Barrel
Burlap & Barrel has expanded its lineup of single-origin spices with the launch of Black Garlic. The new powder is made from fresh garlic grown on small farms in Aguacatán, Guatemala before being slowly fermented, dried and ground into a powder. Burlap & Barrel Black Garlic is available via the brand’s website for $9.99 per 2.2 oz. bottle.
Goodles
Goodles’ newest flavor innovation, Smokey Dokey, is giving major autumn campfire vibes. The new offering features “sticky-thick” macaroni coated in gouda and “kissed with the taste of natural hickory smoke,” according to the brand. Goodles Smokey Dokey can be purchased on the brand’s website for $18.78 per 4-pack of 6 oz. boxes or $47.86 per 12-pack.
Berg Bites
Washington, D.C.-based snack maker Berg Bites has announced the release of its Fruitful Delights. Available in three flavors – Peanut Butter Strawberry, Blueberry Lemon and Mango Coconut – the oat ‘n energy bites are coated in freeze-dried fruit and contain Vitamins A, B, E, Potassium and Omega 3s. Berg Bites Fruitful Delights are available in a variety 3-pack for $17.97.
Mission Foods
Mission Foods has expanded its portfolio with three new products, Zero Net Carbs Sriracha Ranch Tortillas, Carb Balance Chipotle Tortillas and larger Carb Balance Burrito-Sized Tortillas. The new Carb Balance Burrito is a keto-friendly wrap that has just 4 grams of carbs per tortilla.
TiNDLE Foods
Plant-based chicken maker TiNDLE has dropped its new Breakfast Sausage, the brand’s first product wholly developed and manufactured in North America. The Singapore-based company entered the U.S. in 2022 but has been using copackers in the Netherlands. The new offering is made from soy protein, coconut oil, potato starch and oat fiber. Each serving packs 8 grams of protein and 4 grams of fiber. TiNDLE Breakfast Sausage is now available at restaurants such as Mr. Charlie’s in Los Angeles and Lewis Hamilton’s Neat Burger in New York City, in new breakfast creations paired with JUST Egg’s plant-based eggs.
Magic Spoon
Magic Spoon is using its grain-free, low-sugar cereals in a new product: Cereal Treats. Available in two varieties – Marshmallow and Chocolatey PB – each treat is loaded with 11 grams of protein and has just 1 gram of sugar. Magic Spoon Cereal Treats are available via the brand’s website for $39 per 16-pack.
NotCo
Food Tech company NotCo has expanded the footprint of its NotChicken portfolio across the U.S. with the debut of NotChicken Dino Nuggets. The Jurassic Era-inspired product features ingredients like fava beans, bamboo and peach powder. NotCo NotChicken Dino Nuggets will be available at Meijer stores throughout the Midwest beginning in late October.
Primal Kitchen
Capitalizing on the viral “seemingly ranch” meme, Primal Kitchen targeted Swifties with a limited edition packaging drop. The brand released just 50 bottles (which have since sold out) of its avocado oil-based ranch dressing wrapped in a “Seemingly Ranch” label. Additionally, each limited edition bottle was packaged alongside two friendship bracelets that, when worn together, say “seemingly ranch”.
Bono USA
Bono USA, which touts itself as Sicily’s largest extra virgin olive oil producer, has announced its first line of Italian Pasta Sauces. Available in seven varieties – Marinara, Tomato & Basil, Roasted Garlic, Ricotta, Arriabatta, Alla Vodka and Truffle – the sauces are made using tomatoes from the Parma Food Valley. Bono USA’s entire Italian sauce collection is available through regional grocers such as Bristol Farms, The Fresh Market, Balducci’s, Kings and The Giant Company, among others.
Lantana
On the heels of new distribution deals with Albertsons Safeway, Save Mart, Associated Food Stores and Vons, Lantana has added three new hummus flavors to its portfolio: Cauliflower Pizza Crust, Dill Pickle and Hatch Chile. Lantana’s hummus products are made with a blend of beans including garbanzo, white, black and edamame. All three new flavors are available in 10 oz. tubs.
Tea Forte
Tea Forte is paying homage to American architect and designer Frank Lloyd Wright with its newest tea collection. Sold in a variety of pack sizes and gift sets, the teas include Ceylon Gold, Citrus Earl Grey, Oolong Créme, Honey Hojicha and Spiced Herbal Maté varieties. A portion of proceeds from the collection will help support the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation’s mission to help inspire people to discover and embrace architecture.
