Notable New Products: Pancake Cereal & Baja Blast Hot Sauce

In this week’s new products roundup, Belgian Boys brings a viral TikTok trend to retail shelves, Lesser Evil unveils outer space-themed snacks and Goodles declares, “Here Comes Truffle.”

Sol-ti

Following 1.5 years of R&D, Sol-ti has made its first foray into the snack set with the release of SuperMix trail mixes. Available in four varieties – Coconut Cashew, Spicy Chipotle, Spicy Santa Fe and Zesty Pizza – the new offering comes in a full biodegradable bag that leaves zero micro plastics after 42 months, the brand claims. Sol-ti SuperMix is available online for $21 per 6-pack of 1.7 oz. bags.

Lesser Evil

Lesser Evil launched two new product innovations, Space Balls and Cosmic Rings. The former, an air-puffed organic corn ball, , is available in Interstellar Cheddar and Cinnamon Sugar Stardust varieties. The latter, a whole grain corn snack tossed in avocado oil and organic seasoning, is available in Cosmic Cheddar and Berry Blast varieties. Space Balls are currently available exclusively at Whole Foods Market nationwide for $5.99 per 7 oz. bag. Cosmic Rings are slated to debut at Walmart for $3.99 per 3 oz. bag later this quarter.

Soom

Tahini brand Soom Foods expanded into the snack category with the introduction of Soom Tahini Bites, available in Cherry Chocolate Chip, Double Chocolate Brownie and Pumpkin Spice flavors. Made from a base of ingredients including tahini, dates, oats, vanilla and sea salt, the trio is available online for $14.99 or individual bags for $5.49 each.

Quest

Simply Good Foods’ Quest brand expanded its savory snack lineup with Cheese Crackers in Cheddar Blast. Each serving has 14 grams of protein and 7 grams of fiber. Quest Cheese Crackers are available in 4-packs of 1.06 oz. pouches online and at retailers including Amazon, Target and Walmart.

Goodles

Goodles has launched a new flavor of its better-for-you mac & cheese with Here Comes Truffle. The new flavor features a blend of white cheddar and parmesan cheese with black truffles. Each 1 cup serving contains 15 grams of protein and 8 grams of fiber. Goodles Here Comes Truffle will be available exclusively online starting February 7 for $19.16 per 4-pack and $53.88 per 12-pack.

Chicken of the Sea

Chicken of the Sea announced its first complete rebrand in 20 years, including a refreshed mascot, new packaging and an updated website. The update logo features a modern illustration of the brand’s mermaid mascot, Catalina, “to better embody the inspiring character she has always been,” said the brand. The refresh was created in partnership with Little Big Brands.

Oat Haus

Oat Haus debuted a new Cinnamon Roll flavor that marries its flagship granola butter with the taste of the “ooey, gooey middle” of the classic breakfast treat, according to the brand. The new offering is available online for $12.95 per 12 oz. jar.

Lardera

Lardera Coffee Roasters unveiled its latest product innovation, Pour Over Singles. The bags contain 20 grams of nitrogen-flushed coffee and brew a 12 oz. cup of coffee. Lardera Pour Over Singles will be available online later this month for $9 per 8-pack box.

ONE Bar

Protein bar maker ONE Bar announced the launch of its newest line of bars, ONE Coffee Shop. Available in two flavors – Vanilla Latte and Caramel Macchiato – each bar is packed with 65 mg of caffeine and 20 grams of protein. ONE Bar Coffee Shop protein bars are now available online for $29.99 per 12-count.

MTN DEW

In conjunction with National Hot Sauce Day on January 22, MTN DEW announced the launch of its Baja Blast Hot Sauce. Inspired by the soda’s flavors, the hot sauce contains from the soda, lime,tomatillos, habanero peppers, green chiles and jalapeno peppers. Baja Blast Hot Sauce is now available to win through the brand’s website.

Belgian Boys

Sweet treat maker Belgian Boys has taken a viral TikTok trend and brought it to Target shelves with a new Pancake Cereal. The limited time offering will be available at Target nationwide beginning February 1.
