Notable New Products: HelloFresh Teams Up with Marvel, Siggi’s Kicks of Summer Early

In this week’s notable new products roundup, HelloFresh teams up with Marvel to create hero-inspired meal kits, Banza expands its mac & cheese offerings and Siggi’s celebrates summer early with the rerelease of its seasonal Guava flavor.

Rise & Puff

Menlo Park, California-based tortilla maker Rise & Puff unveiled its newest flavor addition: Everything Seasoning. The new offering is made with just four base ingredients (flour, pure avocado oil, water and everything seasoning) and can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 40 days. Rise & Puff Everything Seasoning Tortillas are available online nationwide starting at $28.99 for multi-packs. They can also be found at select retailers in Los Angeles, Dallas and San Francisco in 8-packs.

Whisps

Whisps has expanded its lineup of cheese crisps with the addition of Whisps Baked Cheese Bites. Available in two varieties at launch – Cheddar and Parmesan – the bite-sized, poppable snack packs 10 grams of protein per serving. Currently, the new product is exclusively available at Walmart and at Walmart.com. It will begin hitting the shelves of other retailers in July.

Banza

Chickpea-based pasta maker Banza is expanding its lineup of mac & cheese products with the release of its Vegan Deluxe Mac & Cheese. With a base of chickpeas, each serving boasts 9 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber, for 30% fewer net carbs than the leading vegan mac & cheese, the brand claims. Banza Vegan Deluxe Mac & Cheese is available at Whole Foods Market nationwide for $5.49 per box.

Laura Chenel

Laura Chenel has introduced its newest product innovation: a Mango Habanero Fresh Goat Cheese Log. This is the eighth flavor to join the brand’s line of 4 oz. flavored logs, which also includes Kalamata Olive, Black Truffle, Orange Blossom Honey, Fig & Grapefruit, Garlic & Chive, Cranberry and Original. The new offering is now rolling out to retailers nationwide.

Wildway Seasonal

San Antonio, Texas-based Wildway has added Peach Pecan granola flavor to its permanent lineup. Originally launched as a spring seasonal flavor in 2020, Peach Pecan features a mix of dried peaches, pecans, dates, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and cashews. The now-core offering is available online for a suggested retail price of $5.99 per 8 oz. bag.

Lesser Evil

In celebration of Disney’s 100 Years of Wonder, LesserEvil is rolling out a limited edition popcorn flavor: Celebration Popcorn. The LTO is made with organic popcorn mixed with raw cane sugar and organic olive oil. In an effort to tell the story of Disney over the years, the new product comes in a bag that showcases characters from both classic and modern Disney films, from Mickey Mouse to Moana. Lesser Evil Celebration Popcorn will be available in 6.75 oz. bags in Whole Foods Market and Sprouts.

Tower 28 x Zac’s Sweet Shop

Beauty brand Tower 28 teamed up with Zac’s Sweet Shop to launch a limited edition chocolate birthday bark in commemoration of the skincare brand’s fourth birthday. Party Hour Birthday Bark features a white chocolate base infused with Andes Crème De Menthe Thins and semi-sweet chocolate chips and topped with a dark chocolate drizzle and mint cookie crumble. The new offering is available on Tower 28’s website for $20 per 5 oz. pouch.

Siggi’s

Siggi’s is kicking off summer early with the return of its seasonal Guava flavor. Each 5.3 oz. cup of the small-batch skyr packs 15 grams of protein. Siggi’s Guava will be on shelves from April through August for a suggested retail price of $1.79 per cup.

HelloFresh x Marvel

In anticipation of the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 movie, HelloFresh has partnered with Marvel to launch a limited edition Guardians Recipe Adventure series and Guardians Snack Adventure kit. The former features five hero-inspired meals while the latter will enable fans to create HelloFresh versions of two intergalactic treats: Zarg Nut Bites and Mango Milky Fizz and comes with custom packaging for each snack. Both kits will be available on the HelloFresh site beginning April 17.
