Happy Family Organics launched the Happy Baby Savory Blends line. Each pouch contains 1.5 servings of organic vegetables blended with fats, herbs and spices and is available at Whole Foods Markets and Amazon. The line will debut with four flavors: Sweet Potatoes with Olive Oil and Rosemary; Squash, Chickpeas and Spinach with Avocado Oil and Sage; Broccoli and Carrots with Olive Oil and Garlic; and Purple Carrots and Cauliflower with Avocado Oil and Oregano.

Real Good Foods introduced low carb, high protein Grande Enchiladas to the frozen food aisle. Available in two varieties, Chicken Enchiladas with Tomatillo sauce and Cheese Enchiladas in a red sauce, the new grain-free offerings use all natural, antibiotic-free chicken breast as the tortilla shell for a nutrient profile of two grams of net carbs and 20 grams of protein. The Grande Enchiladas are available at Costco, Publix and Safeway.

SuckerPunch Gourmet added two new pickle varieties to its lineup: Kosher Dill Chips and Kosher Dill Wholes. Both new additions are KSA Certified, Non-GMO and contain no artificial preservatives or allergens. The Kosher Dill Chips and Wholes are available online and at Whole Foods Markets, Albertsons, Safeway, Sprouts, ShopRite, Meijer, and Publix nationwide for a suggested retail price of $5.99 per 24 oz. jar.

Sweet Earth expanded its Mindful Chik'n Strips line with three varieties: Shredded Seasoned Chik'n, Seasoned Chipotle Strips, and Shredded Korean Style BBQ. Blue Diamond Almonds launched its XTREMES line, which includes three flavors: Cayenne Pepper (Hot), Ghost Pepper (Hotter), and Carolina Reaper (Hottest). Made with real peppers, each serving of XTREMES also contains 6 grams of protein. The new line is available in select grocery and convenience stores for a suggested retail price of $3.49 per 6 oz. can.

La Brea Bakery

As an expansion of their existing Take & Bake portfolio, La Brea Bakery has introduced six new pre-packaged bakery offerings: Seeded Sourdough Roll, Everything Roll, Sunflower Turmeric Roll, Rosemary Garlic Focaccia Roll, French Sandwich Rolls, and a Twin Pack Ancient Grain Baguette. The breads are shipped frozen and have a six-day ambient shelf life. The new items also sport a packaging refresh to better showcase ingredients and preparation instructions. Each bread retails for between $2.99-3.99 and is available at grocery stores such as Kroger, Albertsons and Harris Teeter.

Targeting more health conscious consumers, Jimmy Dean debuted two new breakfast offerings: a Jimmy Dean Delights Skillet with all natural turkey sausage, sweet potato and kale, and the Jimmy Dean Delights Plant-Based Patty & Frittata Sandwich. The latter features an egg white frittata and a plant-based patty made from soy protein, black beans, brown rice, quinoa, and egg whites.

Maine Crisp Company introduced Savory Fig & Thyme crisps, made with a blend of hemp hearts, walnuts and Maine maple syrup. The new release is gluten-free, non-GMO and, unlike the brand’s other snack offerings, entirely plant-based. The crisps are available on the brand's website, a range of independent specialty shops, and at Hannaford and Whole Foods.

Country Archer Provisions launched their new Fuego jerky along with Footlong meat sticks. Aimed at the convenience store channel, both new offerings are made with grass-fed beef. The Fuego jerky is flavored with Arbol chili spice and contains 9 grams of protein per serving while each footlong contains 15 grams of protein per serving and is available in Original, Teriyaki and Fuego.

Frozen food brand Dr. Praegers added a Cauliflower Veggie Burger to its lineup of burgers and nuggets. Made with cauliflower, zucchini and peas, the new non-GMO, certified gluten free, vegan, kosher and soy free burgers have 9 grams of protein. The burgers are available in packs of two 4 oz. burgers at retailers including Fresh Direct, Meijer, Wegmans, Publix, Whole Foods and Kroger.

Family-owned Cascade Organic Flour, has launched a retail line of its whole wheat flour. Debuting with 5 lb. Organic Whole Wheat Flour bags, Cascade plans to also launch Organic All-Purpose Flour into retail later this year.

Frozen pizza, pasta and cookie dough producer Cappello's introduced two frozen-fresh, grain-free ravioli offerings: Five Cheese and Spinach and Cheese. The almond flour-based dough is filled with a blend of ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, fontina and asiago cheeses. The product is available nationwide at Whole Foods for $9.99.

La Colombe Coffee Roasters partnered with Steeped Coffee Companies to add a fully compostable, single-serve coffee pack to its lineup. Available in Monaco Medium Roast, Corsica Dark Roast, and Monte Carlo Decaffeinated, the new offering uses a proprietary process to brew coffee similar to tea, and is available for purchase online, at premium grocery stores and through other wholesale providers.
