Nosh Live 2024 Replay: Lessons From The Rise of Regen Ag
The rise of the regenerative agriculture movement within CPG has drawn countless comparisons to the growth of organic nearly two decades ago. As we learned back then, and as many are coming to realize now, in order to establish any type of sustainability-oriented initiative within the consumer marketplace, brands will need more than just a solid business model.
Anthony Corsaro is helping lead the charge, having recently founded the ReGen Brands ecosystem, which aims to help grow the movement through research, community and investment. During Nosh Live he shared his insight on why this movement is at an inflection point, the challenges it must overcome to succeed and how this new platform is taking on the task.
“I would really like to see retailers step up … we are trying to interface with retailers and create more in-store promotion and programming because that’s how we are going to increase the consumer awareness of this term, which is going to lead to actual demand for the products on shelf with the claims, with the certification,” he said. “I think retail is really the place to start because it is the cheapest marketing square footage we can get for these bands right now.”
