Yumkies Launches Protein Mini Cookies for People Tired of Protein Bars
Yumkies is entering the consumer packaged goods space with a clear point of view: protein snacks do not have to be bars. The gluten free, refined sugar free, and seed oil free brand is launching a dual-format snack lineup that brings dessert-inspired mini cookies into CPG, led by protein mini cookies designed for people who want protein without another bar.
The launch is anchored by Power Chip, a protein mini cookie created as an alternative to traditional protein bars. Each single-serve bag contains 120 calories, 14 grams of protein, and 1 gram of sugar. Rather than a dense bar or chalky texture, Power Chip delivers protein through a familiar mini cookie format built for everyday snacking.
While many protein products chase higher numbers, Power Chip is positioned as a snackable option for consumers who want meaningful protein in a more enjoyable form. The mini cookie format is designed for real consumption moments, not meal replacement.
Launching alongside Power Chip is Bossy Bites, indulgent mini cookie bites with under 1 gram of sugar per serving. Unlike Power Chip, Bossy Bites are not positioned as a protein product, instead offering a low sugar dessert-style mini cookie that reflects the brand's roots in baked goods while translating cleanly to packaged form.
Across both products, Yumkies uses alternative sweeteners such as allulose and monk fruit, avoids seed oils, and maintains gluten free, refined sugar free formulations to rework familiar mini cookies into modern snack formats without the sugar crash. The lineup reflects a broader strategy of challenging how better-for-you snacks are expected to taste, look, and function.
The new CPG collection will launch online first, followed by select retail partnerships, pop ups, and national trade shows throughout 2026.
