Gelée's Mix-At-Home Gelatin Treats Debut at Erewhon, Expanding Their Retail Distribution to the West Coast
Gelée – the jiggly gelatin brand made for easy at-home mixing and artistic play – will officially launch at Erewhon, the Los Angeles-based grocery chain, on Tuesday, March 11th. Their beloved Passion and Piña Coco flavors will be available at all locations (Beverly Hills, Calabasas, Culver City, Grove, Pasadena, Santa Monica, Silver Lake, Studio City, and Venice), expanding the brand beyond its successful direct-to-consumer launch and onto retail shelves. This immediately follows Gelée’s buzzy retail debut at New York City’s Happier Grocery, the gourmet grocery store, which was marked by a limited-time gallery-inspired window installation and tasting during New York Fashion Week.
More than just a treat, Gelée embodies a fresh approach to nourishment, aligning seamlessly with Erewhon’s commitment to high-quality, ethically sourced foods that support well-being and sustainability. Made from non-GMO whole fruit powders, naturally occurring pre and probiotics, and collagen-rich beef gelatin, Gelée is gut-brain balancing, free from added sugar, packed with antioxidants, and gluten-free. It was founded by Zoe Messinger, the artist & chef who previously worked at Kismet and Freedman's in L.A. and ran her own food truck in Milan and Amsterdam. Messinger believes that wellness should be as fun as it is functional – and Gelée is her way of transforming gelatin into a joyful, creative, and nourishing experience.
