Carbone Fine Food Names Christopher Wendling Executive Vice President of Marketing
New York, NY (February 25, 2025) – Carbone Fine Food, the fastest-growing pasta sauce brand in America, today named Christopher Wendling Executive Vice-President of Marketing. Wendling will oversee the full range of Carbone marketing initiatives as the brand continues to expand its presence in the premium segment of the pasta sauce category. Wendling rose to his new position after serving Carbone as Vice-President of Sales – National Accounts. He will report to Carbone CEO Eric Skae.
“Carbone is growing phenomenally well and Chris has contributed mightily to that growth,” said Carbone CEO Eric Skae. “His energy and sensitivity to retail account needs have helped us achieve a national presence and put our brand in the zeitgeist in an exceptionally short time. His sales management expertise and business analysis acumen give him a perspective on marketing programs that is both pragmatic and innovative.”
A CPG veteran, Wendling joined Carbone in 2021, the year the brand launched, as Sales Manager – Natural & Key Accounts. He earlier served in important sales and customer facing roles at Kashi, Kellogg’s, Starbucks, Plum Organics, Once Upon a Farm and Happy Family Brands.
“I’m thrilled to lead Carbone marketing efforts at this very important time,” said Wendling. “Carbone is about creativity grounded in authenticity. As a result, our consumers think of Carbone not just as a sauce but as a lifestyle. That opens up some unique and exciting marketing possibilities for our team. I can’t wait to get started.”
