Review: Sky Is the Limit for Khloud Plus Protein Chips

Khloud Plus is the latest line extension from Khloé Kardashian’s snack brand, pairing protein-forward tortilla chips with added collagen. Across the three flavors– Buffalo, Jalapeño and Sweet Heat –Khloud Plus does an impressive job of combining functional nutrition with flavors and textures that feel approachable and genuinely enjoyable.
Things that stand out:
- Buffalo and Jalapeño are the strongest flavors of the lineup, delivering well-executed takes on familiar tortilla chip profiles. Both have enough seasoning and heat to feel satisfying without overwhelming the base chip.
- Sweet Heat offers the most distinctive flavor profile, combining noticeable sweetness with a restrained spicy finish. While the combination may be more preference-driven than the other two varieties, the execution is cohesive.
- Delivering 17 grams of protein per serving, along with 2 grams of collagen, gives Khloud Plus a compelling nutritional proposition compared with conventional tortilla chips. The inclusion of avocado oil and non-GMO corn masa also helps the product feel less removed from the traditional snacking experience.
- The packaging is colorful, playful, and highly approachable, with bright flavor-specific backgrounds and large “Protein Chips” messaging that communicates the product proposition quickly. The cloud graphics and rounded typography maintain strong continuity with Khloud’s existing visual identity while giving the line noticeable shelf presence.
Things to consider:
- The “plus collagen” callout adds another functional benefit, but it also creates a relatively busy front panel alongside the protein messaging. Simplifying the hierarchy slightly could make the core 17-gram protein proposition even more immediate.
