Notable New Products: Wake & Bake Coffee and Mini Warrior Bars

In this week’s notable new products roundup, Blackbird Pizza teams up with plant-based protein maker Daring Foods, Nestle launches a new plant-based offering and Icelandic Provisions expands its portfolio of skyr with four new fruity flavors.

BeeFree

Grain-free ready-to-eat snack mix maker BeeFree has unveiled its newest innovations, Mini Snack Bars. Available in a nut-based Salted Caramel and oat-based Apple Caramel, the new bite-sized snacks are gluten-free. BeeFree Mini Warrior bars are currently available online for $11.76 per 12-pack.

Daring Foods x Blackbird Pizza

Blackbird Pizza teamed up with Daring Foods to launch a spicy new collaboration: Buffalo Plant Chicken Pizza. The newest addition to Blackbird’s lineup of frozen pizzas, Buffalo Plant Chicken Pizza features buffalo sauce, vegan cheese, onions, and Daring’s Breaded “Plant Chicken”. The new offering is exclusively available at Sprouts Farmers Market.

ONYX Coffee Lab

Timed to 4/20, ONYX Coffee Lab partnered with adult animated comedy series “The Freak Brothers” to release Wake & Bake coffee blend. The collaboration, made with two coffees sourced from Colombia and Ethiopia, is a medium-roast coffee featuring tasting notes of citrus, dark chocolate, walnut and apple. Wake & Bake is available via the ONYX Coffee Lab website and “The Freak Brothers” online store for $27 per 10 oz. bag.

YUZUCO

This month, YUZUCO is set to debut its first products which include 100% Yuzu Juice. Formulated for cooking, the new offering features premium yuzu juice sourced from Japan (Kyushu and Shikoku islands) and bottled in California. YUZUCO 100% Yuzu Juice is available on the brand’s website for $24 per 8 oz. bottle.

Nestle

As the demand for plant-based, vegan-friendly products continues to rise, Nestle has announced the release of Nestle Tollhouse Plant-Based Morsels. Available in two varieties – Semi-Sweet and Dark Chocolate – the new offering is available for a suggested retail price of $5.19 per 9 oz. bag.

Icelandic Provisions

Icelandic Provisions has expanded its lineup of skyr with four new fruity blends: Honey & Apricot (Extra Creamy), Passion Fruit and Mango (Extra Creamy), Berry Medley (Traditional) and Pineapple (Traditional). The new additions join the brand’s existing fruit-forward flavors including Peach & Cloudberry, Raspberry and Blackberry Boysenberry.

Rivalz

Vegetable-based snack maker Rivalz announced the debut of its salty snack line in Late Night Pizza, Extra Chedda’ Mac and Spicy Street Taco varieties. The “dual-textured” snack, made with pea protein, packs 8 grams of protein and 4 grams of fiber per serving. Rivalz is now available online for $29.99 per 6-pack of 6 oz. bags.
