Position Overview
The Business Development Director – North Carolina will play a critical role in building and expanding Loud Lemon’s presence in our home market. This is a highly visible, field-first position responsible for driving on-premise growth, supporting retail execution, and leading brand activation efforts across the state.
You will work closely with key on-premise accounts and our state broker/warehouse partner, ensuring alignment, execution, and results. This role blends sales, marketing, and hands-on activation and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Core Responsibilities
On-Premise Development
• Build and expand relationships with bars, restaurants, and key on-premise accounts
• Secure menu placements, features, and promotional opportunities
• Drive visibility in high-traffic, high-impact venues
• Work alongside broker teams to open and develop accounts
Broker & Market Coordination
• Partner closely with the state broker/warehouse team to align on priorities
• Ensure execution of sales objectives, programs, and account targeting
• Conduct regular market workdays and ride-alongs
• Provide feedback and accountability on performance
Sales & Market Growth
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across North Carolina
• Drive depletion growth across both on-premise and off-premise channels
• Support retail placements, displays, and promotional execution
• Track KPIs including placements, rate of sale, and activation performance
Sampling & Brand Activation
• Lead and manage in-store demos, tastings, and sampling initiatives
• Coordinate with third-party agencies and sampling personnel
• Recruit, train, and oversee demo teams to ensure high-quality brand representation
• Execute grassroots marketing efforts that drive awareness and trial
Marketing Execution
• Bring national and regional programs to life locally
• Support events, promotions, and brand activations across the state
• Ensure strong, consistent brand presence in market

Qualifications
Required
• Minimum 3–5+ years in beverage, alcohol, or CPG industry
• Experience working with on-premise accounts
• Experience coordinating with brokers, distributors, or warehouse partners
• Strong organizational and execution skills
• Willingness to spend significant time in the field
Preferred
• Experience managing sampling programs or demo teams
• Existing relationships in North Carolina on-premise market
• Background in fast-growth or challenger brands and experience with ABC state structure

Compensation
• Compensation: $60,000 - $78,000 Annual Salary
