Acid League added to its portfolio of vinegar-based food and beverages with the launch of Living Vinaigrettes along with a Seaside Fish n’ Chip Sauce. The Living Vinaigrettes are made with Living Apple Cider Vinegar and extra virgin olive oil and come in Pink Peppercorn Honey Yuzu, Magno Jalapeno Cilantro and Toasted Thai Coconut flavors. All four new products are sold for $7.99 exclusively at Whole Foods Market.

Cleveland Kitchen expanded its fermented food offerings with the launch of Classic Kimchi, made with cabbage paired with fresh garlic, greens, crunchy carrots and Gochugaru red peppers. The kimchi has hit the refrigerated section at Sprouts stores for $5.99 per 16 oz. pouch, and is also sold in 4-packs on the brand’s website.

Enlightened

Low sugar dessert brand Enlightened moved beyond the frozen category with the release of Sugar-Free Cones, vegan ice cream cones containing 30 calories each. The cones are sold on the brand’s website and Amazon for $4.99 to $5.99 and will be rolling out at Sprouts, Whole Foods and Kroger in the coming months.

Los Angeles-based chocolatier Compartés teamed up with Chrissy Teigen’s Cravings brand for a new collection with flavors hand-picked by her family. The flavors include Chrissy’s Coconut Milk Popcorn Chocolate Bar, John’s Carrot Cake White Chocolate Bar, Miles’ Banana Bread Chocolate Bar and Luna’s Blueberry Pancakes Chocolate Bar. The limited edition collection is sold on Compartés’ website for $12 per bar or 2-pack or 4-pack gift sets for $26 or $50.

Bacon brand Cured and Crisp has switched categories with its latest release, a new line of tomato sauces called Safta’s Recipe, inspired by founder Eron Picus’ grandmother. The sauces, made with no added sugar or preservatives, are available in Classic, Arrabiata and Balsamic Basil for $9.99 on the brand’s website.

South Carolina-based seasoning and spice company Auntie Nono’s launched Everything Seasoning, blended with sea salt, garlic, onion, sugar, spices, rice hulls and soybean oil. The new seasoning is sold on the brand’s website for $7.99 per 6.6 oz. shaker.

Steamin' Steves

Tennessee-based spice brand Steamin’ Steve’s launched Homecoming seasoning, the first in its limited edition Taste of Home series. Made with grains of paradise and bird’s eye chili peppers sourced from West African farms, the seasoning is sold on the brand’s website for $9 for a 5.5 oz. shaker.

African Dream Foods launched a range of sauces and spices developed and imported from Africa, with a percentage of the proceeds benefiting conservation efforts and organizations in Africa. The line includes eight sauces such as Ghost Peri-Peri and Bird’s Eye Chilli, three salts (Habanero, Ghost Pepper and Smoked Chipotle Salt) and Safari Smoke Seasoning. The brand’s online store has launched for pre-orders for all products and will begin shipping in March.

Cassava flour brand Otto’s Naturals expanded into cookies with the launch of its Organic Grain-Free Ultimate Cookie Mix. Made with five ingredients -- organic cassava flour, organic brown sugar, organic cane sugar, baking soda and sea salt -- the mix is sold in 12.2 oz. pouches on the brand’s website.

Frozen fruit bar brand Outshine launched a new line of dairy-based frozen snacks, Simply Indulgent bars. Containing five grams of protein per bar, the bars are available in Strawberry, Mango, Chocolate and Coffee in six-pack boxes for $4.69. The bars have begun rolling out at retailers nationwide and will be available on shelves by April.

Seemore launched Chicken Parm Sausage, made with roasted tomatoes, breadcrumbs, mozzarella and parmesan cheese, basil and humanely raised chicken. The new sausage is now available in Erewhon and Southern California Whole Foods for $7.99 and $8.99 in Northwest, North Atlantic and NorCal region Whole Foods.

Mushroom Coffee is a blend of premium organic instant coffee featuring Lion’s Mane and Chaga mushrooms and ashwagandha. Focus is a caffeine-free blend of Lion’s Mane mushroom and spearmint extract, while Unwind combines Reish mushroom, l-theanine, magnesium and other botanicals. Olive oil and vinegar maker Pompeian added three new innovations to its portfolio: two new olive olive oil varieties, Smooth and Rich Taste, as well as Pompeian Rosé Balsamic Vinegar. All new products will begin hitting retail shelves nationwide this spring and summer.

TRUFF, maker of truffle hot and pasta sauces, debuted a mayonnaise line available in two varieties: Truffle and Spicy Truffle. Made with cage-free eggs, sunflower oil and black winter truffles, the new condiment is sold on the brand’s website and exclusively at Whole Foods stores nationwide.

Luna rolled out a new bar line featuring 2.5 grams of prebiotics as well as eight grams of protein per bar, sold in Wild Cherry and Tangerine Zest flavors at Target stores and Amazon.

Both are sold for $3.99 per 3.5 oz. bag, hitting shelves at retailers and online nationwide.

Hummus maker Sabra launched Sabra Kids, a plant-based snack line for kids. Packed as a single-serve portion of a dip and crunchy snacks, the line comes in two flavors: Brownie Batter Dip & Graham Cracker Sticks and Taco Dip & Rolled Tortilla Chips. Sabra Kids is sold in three-packs at retailers nationwide, including Walmart and Amazon Fresh.

After acquiring KidzShake last month, Nutritional Growth Solutions is launching pediatric nutritional height-boosting solution Healthy Height in the medical market, signing a vendor agreement with U.S. medical distributor Independent Medical Co-op. The shake, which contains 12 grams of whey protein and 350 mg of the essential amino acid arginine per serving, is set to be available for distribution in the first quarter of 2021.

Field Roast announced a new plant-based Signature Stadium Dog, a pea protein-based hot dog double smoked with maple hardwood chips. The hot dogs are currently available at select U.S. locations of Wienerschnitzel in three varieties, Veggie Dogs, Barbeque Veggie Dogs and Chicago Veggie Dogs, and will be hitting grocery stores in the fresh meat section in April.
