Brands Celebrate Fall With Limited Edition Flavors
For many consumers, the onset of autumn means one thing — pumpkin spice-flavored sweets and snacks. Brands put their own twists on the fall favorite flavor this season, with new limited edition launches from coffee and cereal to protein bars and peanut butter. Once Upon a Farm
Children’s nutrition company Once Upon a Farm has partnered with non-profit Save the Children to launch its second limited edition “give-back blend,” Farmer Jen’s Pumpkin Oatmeal Cookie. Once Upon a Farm will donate 25 cents for every Farmer Jen pouch purchased, up to $50,000. The blend features organic pumpkin, coconut milk, sweet vanilla and no added sugar, and is sold exclusively on the brand’s website.
Blake's Seed Based
Allergy-friendly snack brand Blake’s recently rolled out its first seasonal item, a Pumpkin Spice Rice Crispy Treat. The bars, made with flax, pumpkin and sunflower seeds are sold in 6-packs for $5.99 on its website along with Amazon and Thrive Market.
Jamie's Farm
Jamie’s Farm launched a Sweet Potato Cinnamon grain-free granola, made with dried sliced sweet potatoes infused with honey, cinnamon and ginger and baked with ghee. The granola is sold in 8 oz. pouches on the brand’s website for $12.
Love + Chew Brands
Vegan superfood cookie maker Love + Chew Brands released a Pumpkin Chip variety made with almonds, dates, pumpkin spice and fair-trade dark chocolate chips. The gluten-free cookie contains eight grams of protein and five grams of sugar, and is sold on the brand’s website for $34.99 per 12-pack.
Death Wish Coffee
New York-based coffee maker Death Wish Coffee’s Pumpkin Chai variety made its return this season. The blend, previously known as Cauldron-Aged Pumpkin, features ginger, cardamom, cinnamon and whole black peppercorn roasted with 100% arabica beans. The flavor is sold in grounds, beans and 10-count pods on the brand’s website, Amazon and retail locations nationwide.
OatHaus
For the third year, OatHaus launched a Pumpkin Spice variety of its organic and nut-free Granola Butter, which is available on its website for $12.95 per 12 oz. jar, or $32.95 for three jars.
RXBAR
RXBAR grew its seasonal offerings with two new flavors -- Pumpkin Spice and Pumpkin Spice Peanut Butter -- both formulated with no added sugar. The products are available now on the brand’s website and select retailers nationwide.
MUSH
Ready-to-eat plant-based oats brand MUSH released a new flavor, Pumpkin Pie, sold in 12-packs or 6-packs exclusively at Whole Foods.
Serenity Kids
Kids snack maker Serenity Kids debuted Pumpkin & Cinnamon Grain Free Puffs made with organic cassava root and olive oil, flavored with pumpkin, sweet potato, carrot, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove.
NadaMoo!
NadaMoo! debuted a plant-based Pumpkin Pie ice cream, featuring brown sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon. The coconut milk-based frozen dessert is sold through the brand’s website and at select retailers.
Three Wishes
Three Wishes released a Pumpkin Spice variety of its grain-free cereal containing three grams of sugar and eight grams of plant-based protein. The cereal is available for a limited time at Sprouts nationwide for $6.99.
Smart Baking Company
Smart Baking Company has revived its Pumpkin Spice Smartmuf’ns this season. The gluten-free breakfast item, containing 12 grams of fiber and nine grams of protein, is sold on the brand’s website, Amazon and at retailers across the U.S. and Canada.
Ruby Jewel
Portland, Oregon-based ice cream brand Ruby Jewel brought back its Pumpkin Ginger ice cream sandwich for the fall season, this time in new packaging. The sandwich -- composed of pumpkin-flavored ice cream sandwiched between two ginger cookies -- is sold at retailers such as Whole Foods, Fred Meyer, New Seasons and New Leaf Market.
DEUX
DEUX’s launched a Pumpkin Spice variety of its vegan and gluten-free cookie dough, featuring oat flour and cashew butter and sweetened with maple syrup and coconut sugar along with elderberry extract for immune support. The flavor is available at Erewhon and Whole Foods for $15 per 12-serving jar.
THINK!
Protein bar maker Think! added Pumpkin Spice Latte as a new flavor in its lineup of Protein+150 Calorie Bars. The gluten-free bar -- formulated with six grams of sugar and 10 grams of protein -- is sold on the brand’s website for $15.99 per 10-pack.
Rule Breaker Snacks
Chickpea-based allergy-friendly snack brand Rule Breaker rolled out Pumpkin Spice Bites, bite-sized cookies featuring white chocolate chips and three grams of added sugar. The bites are sold on their website for $4.99 per 4 oz. bag, $23.99 per 6-pack or $36.99 for a 12-pack.
Diamond of California
Diamond of California’s Pumpkin Pie Spice Nut Pie Crust has hit shelves exclusively at Walmart for $3.49. The ready-to-use, shelf-stable crust features a walnut and pecan base and is available through the holiday season.
