The plant-based trend continued to thrive at Natural Products Expo East 2019, with brands launching new innovations across all categories. From vegan breakfast burritos to oat milk butter to paleo plant pudding, brands spread into all areas of the store with their latest plant-based offerings.

Frönen Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert
Frönen’s 5 SKU line of dairy-free frozen desserts contain four to five ingredients per pint including a base of bananas and coconut cream, and are sweetened with honey or maple syrup.
ONE Plant Protein Bar
ONE’s new bars contain 12 g of plant-based protein (a mix of almond, pea, rice and peanut protein) and 1 g of sugar. The new line launches in Chocolate Peanut Butter and Banana Nut Bread flavors.
Miyoko’s Creamery Oat Milk Butter
Miyoko’s Creamery is planning to expand its vegan butter line with a new innovation, cultured oat milk butters, in original and Garlic Parm flavors.
Cali’flour Foods Pizza & Cauliflower Crust
Cali’flour went beyond the crust with its latest plant-based release, a line of low-carb, gluten-free and grain-free topped pizzas, available in four varieties.
Alpha Foods Breakfast Burritos
While there’s plenty of competition for plant-based dinner options, breakfast has seen less innovation. Alpha Foods’ entrance into the category is a breakfast burrito containing a meatless beef-style crumble, dairy-free cheese and tofu “scramble” available in Original Breakfast and Veggie Breakfast varieties
Veggiecraft Farms Cauliflower Pasta
The brand showcased its Spaghetti and Penne made with lentil flour, cauliflower flour and pea flour, which launched earlier this summer, along with its new rice-alternative made with cauliflower.
Three Farmers Crunchy Little Lentils
Taking a cue from the success of roasted chickpeas as snacks, Canadian brand Three Farmers Crunchy launched its Little Lentils’ roasted snack line. Available in four varieties, a serving contains 7 g of plant-based protein.
P.S. Snacks Plant Powered Pudding
The brand debuted its new vegetable-puree based and paleo pudding snack cups in Chocolate, Salted Caramel and Raspberry flavors. The pudding, made with sweet potatoes, squash, and beets, are expected to launch in the fourth quarter of 2019.
Ocean’s Halo Organic Vegan Fish Sauce
The latest addition to Ocean’s Halo’s line of organic soy-free sauces is a kelp-based Southeast Asian-inspired fish sauce.
Plant to Plate Vegetable Dumplings, Barley Risotto
Plant to Plate’s frozen vegan entrees include its Barley Risotto and Vegetable Dumplings made with tofu and edamame.
Daiya Dairy-Free Pizza, Breakfast Burritos
Daiya’s newest dairy-free pizza offering is a Vegetable Crust Pizza, made with cauliflower, sweet potato and spinach. The brand also showcased new Breakfast Burritos in Fiesta and Homestyle flavors.
Eat Nice Ravioli
Plant-based frozen food brand Eat Nice’s vegan ravioli, available in Meaty Walnut and Creamy Nada Ricotta flavors, are made with organic nuts, seeds and tofu.
