Complete Video Coverage of FBU Boston Now Available

Carol Ortenberg

Last month’s Food and Beverage University Boston, hosted by BevNET and Project NOSH, was a huge success that brought together hundreds of entrepreneurs, industry leaders and suppliers. But for those that weren’t able to join in person, complete video coverage of the day is now available for viewing at on Project NOSH Education or BevNET’s Beverage School.

A nominal subscription fee is required to access the footage, but also grants you access to all other education videos on Project NOSH and BevNET. Subscribers to either site gain access to content on the other educational site as well. For new subscribers, along with the ability to review FBU Boston presentations, you’ll also have access to hundreds of other educational videos on dozens of vital and relevant topics for newcomers and early-stage entrepreneurs in the food and beverage industry.

To learn about what will be covered in the videos, read our overview story of the event, FBU Boston: Throwing the Books at Entrepreneurs.

Speakers included experts like Rob Ehrlich, founder of Pirate’s Booty and Sexy Pop, who offered key tips on how to build an exciting, unique and memorable brand. Viewers of his presentation will be treated to his dance routine to Kanye West’s “Power,” — an experience not to be missed.

Other highlights of the event were the presentations by Tim Sperry and John Maggiore, on incubation in the natural channel and setting up distribution inside and outside that channel, as well as Silverwood Partners Managing Director Mike Burgmaier, who outlined how entrepreneurs can build companies that are able to attract investment.

Presentations also included founders of local Boston food and beverage companies Yasso (Drew Harrington) and Spindrift (Bill Creelman) on the struggles and successes of their businesses and what entrepreneurs can learn from these experiences.
