include a Kale DJ, Carrot Stick Hiker, Kayaking Ginger, Blissful Basil Artist
and a Mellow Tomato.
Frances Largeman-Roth, RDN, a nutrition/wellness expert and New York Times bestselling
author, says the soups offer a fresh option for the soup aisles.
“Consumers have
been waiting for a product like this for ages! Long Weekend brings flavor and
fun to the staid category of instant soup. Everyone from college students to
empty nesters to anyone who enjoys a quick and comforting bowl of soup will
love this new brand. All four delicious flavors offer a good source of fiber
and are free from artificial colors, flavors and preservatives,” Largeman-Roth
said.
Flavorful, convenient, nutritious – there’s a reason instant soups
are more popular than ever these days. Dried soup sales eclipsed those of
ready-to-serve wet soup back in 2021, according to Mintel data, and command the
majority share of RTE soup sales, a category expected to grow at a CAGR of
nearly 5% through 2030, according to Grandview
Research. Long Weekend soups’ creative package
design is sure to catch consumers’ attention, whether they’re browsing online
or cruising through supermarket aisles.
Long Weekend started with a simple idea: real soup, real fast,
made to feed more than just your stomach. Derek Nero, director of business
development for the brand, adds, “This whole new line of healthy, premium soups
features on-trend flavor profiles, nutrition and modern convenience beyond
ramen and other traditional dried soups. We’ve created real-deal soups made
with premium ingredients – and captured them at their best to lock in all the
flavor, health and just-made freshness so every bowl tastes like it’s straight
from the kitchen.”
