Keychain Raises $30M Series B, Launches AI-Powered ERP

Artificial intelligence-powered manufacturing platform Keychain has raised $30 million in a Series B funding round led by Wellington Management and BoxGroup, alongside existing investors. To date, the startup has raised a total of $68 million just 18 months after its launch.
The company plans to use the proceeds from the round to launch KeychainOS, a SaaS-based AI operating system that will streamline production for consumer products manufacturers by reducing waste, predicting bottlenecks, and improving planning in real time.
The new offering builds on Keychain’s flagship search-and-discovery platform, developed to help brands and retailers manage orders, track products, and connect with manufacturers.
Since its launch, the network has grown to more than 30,000 manufacturers and over 20,000 brands and retailers, facilitating more than $1 billion in manufacturing projects monthly, according to the company.
KeychainOS adds manufacturing to the mix, connecting food safety, inventory, procurement, and cost accounting into a single, intelligent system and can replace legacy enterprise resource planning systems such as Oracle, QAD and Plex.
“We’ve grown quickly because the demand is clear. Manufacturers are being asked to do more with less, and the systems they rely on simply aren’t built for today’s complexity,” said Oisin Hanrahan, co-founder and CEO of Keychain, in a statement. “Applying AI allows KeychainOS to give manufacturers a smarter, faster way to run their facilities, and it’s already delivering real results.”
Keychain is backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners, SV Angel and industry leaders General Mills, The Hershey Company, Schreiber Foods, and Rich’s Food.
The latest funding will support the company’s expansion into additional verticals, including personal care, beauty, supplements and pet care.
“We are incredibly impressed by Keychain’s ability to rapidly launch new products and scale their operations. This is a rare combination of speed and substance that points to a clear need for their solution in the market,” said Molly Breiner, sector lead at Wellington Management, in a statement. “Keychain is fundamentally redesigning the CPG supply chain, moving beyond traditional ERP limitations to create a more efficient, resilient, and connected ecosystem for manufacturers.”
