It can be easy to try to lump consumers into neat boxes: Meat eaters or vegetarians, Ketogenic eaters or low-fat dieters. Sugar-free or indulgence seekers. But in truth, most consumers fall along a spectrum — call it the flexitarian public.
At Natural Products Expo East conference, this spectrum of dietary habits was apparent across categories, as brands launched new products, line extensions and reformulations designed to appeal to a broad swath of shoppers.
