Tony Wrubel is the co-founder of Aveyo Avocado Foods, a company delivering avocados in an easy and convenient format. The spoonable avocado snack is made with 5 ingredients or less and is free from all major allergens. Aveyo launched in Wegman’s earlier this year and has added smaller retailers in Boston, food service accounts throughout New England and corporate buildings in New York. Wrubel is looking to raise capital to support the brand’s marketing and distribution efforts, and is focused on leveraging its strategic co-packer partnership and propriety processes for extending the product’s shelf life.
