The Salty Snacks’ Evolution

Consumer attitudes towards snacking are slowly shifting, and brands are taking note. According to a 2015 report published by market research firm Mintel, 62 percent of consumers snacked to satisfy a craving. However, 33 percent of those surveyed said they were snacking on healthier foods. Brands including HalfPops, Way Better Snacks and Cabo Chips are trying to address both trends with new products that offer healthier ways to snack.
