New Products: Seasonals from Issei and Chocolove, Plus Maple Leaf Foods’ Mighty Protein Sticks

It’s nearly Thanksgiving, and brands are gearing up for the holiday season, from Issei’s new limited-edition Dark Chocolate Covered Peppermint Mochi Gummies to the return of Chocolove’s Tree-Shaped Bites. Cascadian Farm is incorporating perennial grain Kernza in four of its top-selling flake cereals: Honey Oat Crunch, Honey Oat Crunch with Almonds, Raisin Bran and Hearty Morning Fiber. The brand’s parent company, General Mills, has been researching Kernza since 2014 in partnership with The Land Institute and the University of Minnesota’s Forever Green Initiative.
