On Thursday, New Mexico Fresh Foods (NMFF) will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of its new high pressure processing (HPP) tolling facility — the first in the state. The company offers services for food products, juice, cold brew coffee, tea and green chili.
The joint partnership between Buena Park, Calif.-based True Fresh and Edison, N.J.-based NutriFresh, announced last week, will make the combined entity the largest HPP tolling enterprise in North America.
The seal, which reads “High Pressure Certified” and is available for licensing from the CPC, will debut on select HPP juice products, with further expansion into other categories set to follow in the coming months.
