Toronto, ON - September 4, 2026 - JÖEY Nordic Seed Crisps, the Canadian brand reimagining what a cracker can be with watermelon seeds, protein, and fiber, has been named a winner of the 2026 Startup CPG Shelfie Award in the Healthy Snack Category for its Rosemary & Black Pepper Seed Crisps.
The Shelfie Awards, run by Startup CPG - one of the largest emerging consumer packaged goods communities in the world, with a B2B reach of over 150,000 professionals and nearly 40,000 members in its Slack community - recognize standout products across product innovation, brand story, and packaging design. This year's competition drew more than 2,000 submissions across 30-plus categories, each physically tasted and evaluated by a panel of judges before 145 finalists and 46 category winners were selected.
"To be recognized out of so many incredible brands is amazing, and we're eternally grateful," said Joseph Chen, Founder of JÖEY. "This win reflects everything we set out to do - create a snack that's both thoughtfully made and genuinely craveable."
JÖEY's Rosemary & Black Pepper Seed Crisps are built on a blend of seven nutrient-dense seeds, including watermelon seeds, and deliver 22g of protein and 13g of fiber per bag. The line is USDA Organic, certified gluten-free, vegan, and made without seed oils - part of JÖEY's broader mission to bring a cleaner, more functional cracker to shelf.
The award adds to a growing year for the brand as it continues to expand its retail footprint across North America.
