Two Magpies Named as Team of the Year Finalist in Baking Awards

Two Magpies, the East Anglian-based cafe and bakery group, is pleased to announce it’s been named a finalist for Team of the Year at the prestigious Baking Industry Awards 2026.

The Baking Industry Awards recognises the very best people, products and businesses the UK baking industry has to offer. Now in its 39th year, winners will be announced on Wednesday 25th November and Two Magpies will find out if it will be crowned Team of the Year at new venue for 2026, the iconic 5-star London Hilton on Park Lane, Mayfair.

Two Magpies started its journey 13 years ago as a small bakery in Southwold with a team of just 16 passionate individuals. Through dedication and a shared vision, the team now includes over 200 talented colleagues across 11 cafe’s, a farm shop and a production unit spread across Suffolk and Norfolk.

“We are absolutely delighted to be a finalist in these highly-regarded awards because they celebrate the incredible people behind Two Magpies’ success and growth since our small beginnings in 2013. The category is open to teams of all sizes and from any area of the baking industry, including large manufacturers, retailers, suppliers and artisan bakers. Judged by a panel of industry experts, chosen by category sponsor, Coperian, they will be looking at how the team communicates to achieve common goals and how they work together to drive success, growth and efficiency.

Two Magpies Bakery operates 11 sites across Norfolk and Suffolk, including Norwich, Blakeney, Holt, Woodbridge, Wells-next-the-Sea, Beccles, Aldeburgh, Framlingham, Marlesford and Southwold, as well as a central bakery and bakeschool in Darsham.
