Inés Rosales Closes 2025 with Sales Growth in Spain and Sets Sights on Export Increase for 2026
Inés Rosales continues to advance its international expansion strategy, aiming to steadily increase the share of exports within its overall business. Overseas markets already account for 20% of the company’s total revenue.
The Seville-based company has seen consistent revenue growth from 2022 to 2025, reaching €18.5 million in 2025, up from €14.7 million in 2022. This growth was accompanied by a 3% increase in sales volume over the last fiscal year while maintaining operating margins, despite ongoing inflationary pressures on costs.
Sales to major national and regional retail chains represent 60% of total revenue, aligning with Spain’s current food distribution landscape. The company’s primary strategic challenge remains expanding its geographic footprint and strengthening penetration across new points of sale.
In recent years, Inés Rosales has navigated a significant cost crisis driven primarily by the rising price of extra virgin olive oil (EVOO), the core ingredient in its world-renowned Tortas de Aceite. This was compounded by rising energy, transport, and labor costs, creating an inflationary spiral that required a partial price adjustment for end consumers. However, 2025 saw no unexpected fluctuations in EVOO prices, helping to stabilize the production environment.
While Spain accounts for 80% of sales, the United States leads the international market, representing 58.4% of total exports. This is followed by the United Kingdom (17.6%), Canada (7.2%), France (5.8%), and Australia (3.5%), reflecting strong consolidation across North America and Europe.
Regarding employment, the company reaffirms its commitment to creating stable, high-quality jobs. The number of permanent employees rose from 138 in 2024 to 146 in 2025. Over the past five years, the workforce has grown by 28%, alongside a push toward professionalization and a reinforced organizational structure.
In 2025, the company sold 12 million packs of Tortas de Aceite, in addition to 0.5 tons of other traditional Andalusian pastries and crackers.
