Yaza Announces Refreshed Brand Identity and Packaging Redesign
Atlanta, GA, 2026 — Yaza, the Mediterranean food brand bringing time-honored flavors to modern kitchens, announced the launch of a refreshed brand identity and packaging redesign. The rebrand reflects the company's growth as a young brand, lessons learned along the way, and a need to more clearly communicate its quality and authenticity in an increasingly competitive CPG landscape.
Yaza's original packaging helped establish the brand, but as branding across the dips and spreads category continues to evolve, the team recognized that its visual identity no longer fully represented the product inside. Rather than waiting, Yaza chose to act now.
"We didn't originally plan on rebranding this soon," said Karim Khalil, Owner of Yaza. "But as we grew, we started to see where things weren't working as well as they could. The CPG space is moving fast, packaging expectations are higher than ever, and we're the kind of team that believes in pivoting when something can be better. If a rebrand was inevitable, why wait? New year, new Yaza."
At the center of the rebrand is Yaza's flagship labneh, made the traditional way—without milk powders or thickeners, using a process that has been practiced for centuries. As the only labneh product on the market made this way, Yaza felt its packaging needed to better reflect the simplicity, care, and heritage behind the product.
The brand launched with labneh and has since expanded its portfolio to include baba ghanouj and muhammara, introducing regional flavors through a contemporary lens. An additional new product is set to launch in the coming months, signaling continued momentum and growth.
The rebrand and packaging redesign were developed in partnership with Riser.Design, the creative studio behind brands such as MALK and Bloom. The updated identity brings a more confident, modern, and shelf-forward presence to Yaza while staying true to its Mediterranean roots. The new packaging will begin rolling out across retail shelves and digital platforms in early 2026.
