About Beachwood:
Beachwood Brewing began in 2006 with a restaurant and beer bar in Seal Beach and expanded in 2011 with a brewery and taproom in Downtown Long Beach. Owners Gabriel Gordon and Lena Perelman continued to grow the brand with The Blendery in 2015, producing beers inspired by the Belgian Lambic tradition. In 2022, they opened a taproom in Long Beach's Bixby Knolls neighborhood, now operating as a distillery serving handcrafted spirits and cocktails, along with the Huntington Beach pizzeria.
In December of 2022, Beachwood opened its new pizzeria location where the signature pizzas are defined by their unique sourdough—made with house-milled flour, a custom house sour beer culture, and house-crafted "pizza water" from the brewery—resulting in a buttery, airy, caramelized crust topped with fresh cheeses, cured meats, and seasonal ingredients.
Today, Beachwood celebrates 14 years of brewing award-winning craft beer and operates a full-scale production brewery, distillery, pizzeria, and multiple taprooms across Southern California, including locations in Long Beach, Huntington Beach, and Garden Grove. Each site reflects their commitment to craft, flavor, and community.
